Sadly it comes down to the owners. They will throw him under a bus and keep the circle that is man utd going.

Then hopefully sponsors start to drop out or someone organises something worthwhile.

Should deffo be signing ‘superstars’ and not Championship players..
Bloody hell, that is a damning statistic.

It’s why the clubs tendency to follow the online hysterics is worrying. Need to be above all that. You clear out lots of players and base a team around youth to avoid pandering to short-termists. It’s not like we haven’t seen it at our club before.

Ole of course has to face some pressure but he’s been allowed to make long term adjustments. Ideally not to be hounded after two bad results.

I know you are thinking of Lingard here particularly - do you really think our manager sees him as "the answer"?

(whatever he may say in public, I mean)

We couldnt claw back a victory vs wolves after they equalised.

We couldnt get a victory at home after we equalised.

And today we couldnt muster a goal against 10 men for 20 mins

I know its a bit drastic but throw the youth in. They cannot do any worse

Its about pleasing fans and keeping the brand going. The moment they decide " we will do what is right not what they want" alot of the fair weather lot will drop. The brand will fall. Less money for the gimps

What fans want above all, though, is for us to be at least challenging for the top prizes again.

That will take a huge amount of backing and planning. The fans around the world dont have that patience for the club.

Its short terms goals which get people talking over the club.

Right now its about papering over cracks whilst having cardboard foundations in place.

Tbf, they’re the kind of tactical situations where we’re going to struggle this season. Maybe they’ll lose their nerve if around top 4, it remains to be seen. But Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal are not better teams than us. Ole nearly finished above them last season after giving them all a huge head start. There’s only two good teams in this league.

Improvement would be enough for the time being. There is no universal law that you have to be shit while re-building.

I think they are. Arsenals strikers would walk into our team, as would spurs, ( and right now id take giroud over rashford)

Midfield again, spurs , arsenal and chelsea have a better midfield than The Scottish Player matic fred pogba andreas

Defence id say ours is better than arsenals and chelseas

There is improvement. Team spirit is probably improving and fitness is better. Back end of last season we’d have lost our past 3 games. Instead we didn’t go to pieces or lose steam and we could easily have got another 5 points. We’re not that far off being top 4 this season. Bit of luck with injuries, a few young players kick on and the team gels that little bit more as they continue to play together.

How are Spurs not a better side than United?

How many seasons do they need to finish in front of us ?

Many of their players would walk into our side.

Just maybe hold off for longer than two bad results eh?

Unlike most I wasn’t clamouring to give Ole the job. But two bad games...

All of that applied last year and ole still made a shit tonne of points up on them. Tottenham’s league form since Christmas is worse than ours. Chelsea have already lost to us. They’re all shit.
