Pretty much.

They looked comfortable enough in the second though. Defended well and stayed composed.

Hate games like that.

Arsenal are a bunch of lightweight bottlers, this is almost certainly our worst result under OGS.

He's been the most disappointing for me. The others you can somewhat make allowances for, but he had a week off (due to own recklessness) and been the old Pogba.

He hasn't been great in recent weeks either.

Keep a close eye on him because we can't afford for him to start giving it the big one.

Such a frustrating game.... but the result doesn't surprise me. We looked leggy and our sloppiness cost us.

We have plenty of chances to put this right though and there's loads to go on this race

I don't think an inquest is required, just a bad day.

This.

Fine margins.

Look at how we finished though. Attacking and Greenwood was so assured on the ball.

Long way to go but still enjoyed that from a united POV.

Also some crucial defending from Fred. The gaffer will have seen that.

mugged. one lucky shot and a soft penalty while lukaku misses chance after chance and rashford doesn't even do that. and they say our front two was the bit that worked.

Indeed. We could have made up 2 & 3 points on all the other top four and we pick this game to play like that. If they were good and ran us ragged then fair enough, but they aren’t and they didn’t. Our execution of everything today was worst since Ole came back. I hope he has a little Norwegian hairdryer.

Arsenal have lost once at home in the league all season.

It was always a tough game despite the preconceived notions about Arsenal's temperament. They just needed a bit of luck and they got it.

DDG needs a £#%&!ing slap for the goal and the penalty imo. Lukaku back to Earth after a heady week. Looks sharper, played quite well, but £#%&! when and where it matters.

Where were we in relation to 4th before this big spell of games?

We're two points off with 8 games to go, coming out of fixtures away to arsenal twice, PSG twice, Chelsea and Liverpool

That's not too bad and we'd have all taken that when Ole took over.

This. 8 wins in a row at home. Bit of cliched look at them this season. They're not to fannies they've been in recent seasons. They work jard. The main issue is their lack of depth and quality.

Today was always going to be tough. We needed to be bang at it. We weren't. We lost. It happens and had to happen to us sooner or later.

First league defeat since December.

Circumstances change. Of the top four challengers, we had all the momentum; no reason to have given that up today. Arsenal are far from impressive.

This.

Proper pissing me off lately

Poor last week against Southampton

Distribution is shocking

Never comes off his line

That punch on Wednesday

You’re not getting 300k a week pal, you’re a goal keeper ffs

Very frustrating because it was a totally undeserved victory for Arsenal

We had basically all the clear chances but lose to a shocking piece of goalkeeping and an incredibly soft penalty
Arsenal had a lot of huff and puff but created £#%&! all

We didn’t even play that well but still created plenty
Despite his recent heroics Lukaku isn’t good enough
Generally misses the big chances in these big 6 games and his hold and link play are shocking

I thought Fred after the first half hour had a decent performance but he needs to get more composed

Clear the areas we need to improve in the summer
Commanding central defender on the ball to bring composure back there
Top class experienced right back
High quality replacement for Matic who can make quick forward passes
Wide right player to stretch the opposition down that side

Arsenal have an easier run in on paper but they can lose to anyone away from home and Spurs are only 3 points away and they have Liverpool and City away
