Reading reports on last night, I don’t recall ever reading about a game where people were at such pains to point out how “boring” it was.

Much besides the fact it wasn’t boring (Leicester were just shite and we were fully in control), I think it’s indicative of our improvements. There’s much more entertainment for people watching us being rubbish and them being adamant it was dull means they don’t have to give us any praise. I think they’re starting to get twitchy with the old Man Utd PTSD

Of course. Manchester United being a huge spineless mess for the last year was like a dream come true for the vast majority of the country. You couldn't open social media, put on the sports news or radio without panels of 'experts' delivering huge sermons on how terrible man utd are and how rubbish the players are etc etc... they absolutely £#%&!ing rinsed every last drop out of it. There's no other football club in this country that would have Elon Musk tweeting about them at 2am, regardless of how shite they are. That's how much of a meme we've become.

As such, a new team with a new manager finding their way and eeking out a couple of 1-0s after a truly abominable start isn't really sensational enough. After brentford they were all absolutely rubbing their hands together for the next instalment i can assure you.

Yep. Jermaine Jenas on commentary was so Leicester leaning it was ridonk. Everything was all

“They’re just not getting anywhere here Leicester”

Care to consider why, Jermaine?

And giving Eriksen man of the match (sorry, PLAYER of the match) was with gritted teeth as he was ‘one of the few United players who has played well’.

As you say, us showing signs of improvement and grinding out a 1-0 is neither here nor there in terms of sensationalism.

When (OK, IF) we start winning things again, I'm gonna be putting these all over the country. Fleet St & Sky Sports HQ will be the 1st 2 locations.

Yeah, and it should be much easier for them now that Maguire and shaw aren’t there.
