If by some miracle he does decide to leave the reigning European and Spanish champions to head over here to Sesame St, then he’ll want ridiculous wages too.

So they back away from Rabiot because of his wage demands but they think 50 million for a 30 year old Casemiro on a massive contract is good value

Just when you thought Utd couldn’t get any stupider in their transfer business

Even if he signed this would be another classic Utd signing of an experienced world class player coming for one last payday

The midfield Varane.

Madrid have replaced him because he’s creaking, would be just like us to sign him for big money and long contract and be stuck with him while he’s properly winding down.

Like that clown that said we should be buying Kante, who’s out for 4-6 weeks and Jorginho, just £#%&!ing stupid.

Exactly.

I wouldn't be opposed if we could get him for a couple of years, for a relatively low fee.

But £50m and massive wages for what would surely be a four year contract would be ludicrous. It would also cover more than half the guaranteed fee Real paid for Tchouaméni.

It was pretty funny hearing him hype hype up those two from Chelsea on Sunday while they were winning - only for Jorginho to screw up and give away a goal, and Kante to do his hammy. Again

How are we going to fit Casemiro and De Jong in the same starting 11?

If we can keep Ronaldo and get Casemiro and Keylor Navas, I'd say we're only a time machine to 2016 away from winning the next three Champions Leagues.

Good call, tbf. Maybe we could send them both out on loan to Preston, in order to get used to the big time.

If only we'd have signed Bale this summer...

If we needed any more evidence that the club has no clue about signing players and a strategy in the transfer market.

De Jong to Rabiot to Casemiro, they're not even similar types of midfielders so we've now resorted to the scatter gun approach of just trying to get anyone in instead of a specific type of player.

Wouldn’t be a classic transfer window disaster without a player using us as leverage for a new deal.

Glad it’s taken the club just 14 weeks to notice that FDJ might be unattainable.
