Looking at him is depressing. Hearing him is depressing. Watching him play football is depressing. Reading what he's said is depressing.

The eyes say it all.

Had an absolute stinker there tonight. Whatever shred of confidence he may have had has probably been obliterated after that.

Felt a bit sorry for him. He's playing worse than he actually is.

He hasn't got the spine to come back from this. It's pretty brutal to watch tbh. Needs to leave in January to keep what little dignity he has.

He's absolutely shot. No coming back from it - he doesn't even have the pace to hide the £#%&! ups he makes now.

I hope he has a decent World Cup so someone decides to buy him in January (which contradicts what I've just said above)
His time at United has to be over

Yep, gone. Glue factory is probably best. £80m ffs

Needs the captaincy taking off him with some excuse about letting him focus on his football etc.

Starting to feel sorry for the guy, he's been promoted so far above his ability levels its a joke and it looks like its destroying him. Keep up with your training and join Sheffield in January.

He won't though, how long is his contract and whats he on a week? The Phil Jones photo with him above, here we go......
