such a lovely footballer. proper carrick-esque last night, just sat back and pinged balls left right and centre.

the term 'quietly effective' has never been so apt. him and case....

slightly astonishing that it's taken several managers to work out that we need a world class midfield to compete. even fergie forgot at times.

We've gone from Fred and The Scottish Player to Casmemiro and Eriksen.

I still can't quite believe it.

Eriksen is doing a decent job of filling in for De Jong, no question about that.

He's genuine class, doesn't £#%&! around - the amount of times one of our other #@&%!s will pass it to him at knee height & he can lay it off with either foot first time to a teammates feet is outstanding.

Could do with similar amounts of care for the ball throughout the side, but it's £#%&!ing weird seeing him & Casemiro in the middle of the park for us after the last 6 or 7 seasons of utter shite.

Notice this he gets some proper hospital passes . Other fired right into him, some they play him in where there’s two defenders closing him down. His technique is world class
