Because all the betting mongs have jumped on the tittle tattle from the likes of Neville. If Chelsea do bid for him, they'll still face the same problems we've had for months(Barca won't pay him what they owe), he won't join anyone until that's sorted. It's a joke of a situation because of those mes que un @#%&!s, nobody else.

You obviously don’t know Ornstein
He doesn’t do transfer gossip, he only posts the truth

As far as I know he’s never been wrong
That’s his thing

Yeah he doesn’t say FDJ would sign for Chelsea over us but come on we all know how this is going to go

Cue the whole ‘we’re a joke’ routine even though we agreed a fee ages ago. If he goes to Chelsea because he genuinely didn’t want to come here then this is on ten Hag for wasting time. Every manager has a preference, but any manager worth their salt also has options.

Let’s see. That excuse always sounded like absolute %@#$&!s. If he was owed money that obligation doesn’t somehow legally vanish because he changes employer. For the amount being mentioned, if that was the sticking point even presuming it was an issue then a compromise would have been found by selling/buying club. We’ll see where it goes.

it's one thing if he stays at barca, for all the politics that are involved in the deal that would be understandable.

it's another thing entirely if Chelsea come in and just buy him with relatively little hassle. it would confirm that A) we really are skint, and B) repeated organisational failures over the last 7 years or so have really come home to roost

I still don't understand how we'd have come this far without knowing for sure the player wants to come though? We must have had strong indicators, either direct from the player or his entourage that he would sign if we agree a fee?
