I don't doubt it... until that day, I'm locked in. Even then, f*** it. I've built up a chunky pot in the meantime & started a parallel DC scheme this year to supplement it.

I'd quite like to take my winters on the West Coast of the USA & my summers here when I'm done, with a healthy few trips lobbed in for good measure.

So not all that different from now tbh.

Fair play. But are you deliberately trying to kill heath ffs? Perhaps you are, as the more people die early the healthier the dB schemes remain. Can I ask what winter coat you currently sporting

- Jez loves my updates, I've been waiting for him to wade in but I know he works in the same sector & he's rolling in it compared to me. I'm just time rich comparatively with no kids etc.

Winter coat is a Nigel Hall cashmere / wool thing a bit like this but with navy instead of charcoal flecks:

As I understand it the Vanguard fee's are 0.15% capped at £375 regardless of accounts you hold with them (SIPP, ISA).

Their range is limited to their own funds/ETF's but for the vast majority this will suffice especially if you were to use their Lifestrategy offerings.

Isn't for me because of the lack of IT's and REIT's which would leave me with a less diversified portfolio than i'd be happy with.
