Do you already have a SIPP (and ISA?).

As for a possible investment:

Vanguard FTSE Global All Cap Index Fund GBP Acc

ocf: 0.23%

Global, with almost 7000 holdings.

You never need to worry about under-performing the market because you will pretty much get the global market return...at a tiny cost.

I don't trade (rebalance twice a year) but as it happens I did switch my Japan exposure between two IT's on the day and had no issues.

Other than the sh*thouse market makers crapping themselves at the order and filling me at a couple of pence above ask.

It's popular on the financial forums and has obviously benefited by the tech/growth story.

If there is a rotation back in to value from growth performance may not be what it was.

And it's true...MM's shit themselves when I log on.

I'd be a little cautious on Chinese EV manufacturers right now. The government is pulling subsidies (it pulled them, put them back and is now pulling again) and some kind of market consolidation is expected. NIO I think is still okay as it is being pumped with money from Tencent and local government coffers. I interviewed the CEO recently and he was still optimistic about the luxury EV segment (while also acknowledging that Tesla is running away with the EV market in China).

BYD is a decent punt as well, because of its battery technology advances. Grown a lot this year though so no idea if there is still upside. Fancy a table myself.

Note that China's tech stocks in general are dodgy right now because of government intervention, such as what happened with the Ant IPO. Alibaba(HK) just dropped from about HKD300 to around HKD250. Still up for the year though.

Yeah I donít know why people hold onto it when it has such volatility. Just sell when it goes up and buy it back again when it dips. Donít get why folk bother to hang onto it.

Pls explain.

Ears I followed your link but no free shares. Unlucky.
