I'd quite like to see Schweini start for Carrick. Huge Carrick fan but against Newcastle we should have no problem controlling possession and we'll need that to happen in Bruges. Herrera could then start as the third midfielder this weekend.

mata with the roving forward role

carrick to start and change with basti at 45-60 mins.. an away game is probably not the game in which to change it by starting basti

rooney needs a goal.. and/or subbing 10 mins after basti comes on, on a regular basis

defence as you were, maybe give rojo 20 mins

fwiw i'd still start carrick.

Must be a chance that Schweini and Hererreri will both start this game.

I'd like to see that, can always sub one of them if the shape looks wrong.

I'd go with the same side with bastian in for carrick. Wouldn't be surprised to see a few changes tho with another game in midweek.

Ferie would've made about 8 changes for this game and won.
