We've needed a proper cynical bastard in there for ages.

The Richards thing was brilliant. That dumb @#%&! fell for it aswell. You can tell the silly plastic #@&%! hasn't played in years. He's probably still wondering now how Darmian has 'got your nose!' .

Absolute #@&%!.

Anyway, what were we saying? Oh yeah. Darmian. Yeah, he's fine.

Not impressed at all, tbh.

Nowhere near enough tattoos, only has a couple of pictures on his Instagram, doesn't seem to have a Twitter presence, has a simplistic haircut without dye, and where the hell is his outspoken agent? I don't even know his middle name, ffs!

All he seems to do is play football and go home. What is this, 1992? Get rid.

Good thread.

Proper player. Actually started the move for Adnan's goal with a smart early pass. Loved Rafael but this lad looks a much better bet.

It was clever, and he did it twice. Typical Italian defender. Love it.

He fell for it AGAIN?

Give it a few weeks and he'll really start to piss opposition fans off.

Top player, it isn't like he's just had two good games and we are all getting carried away because you can see he is just playing himself in and is only going to get better. Against Spurs there was one moment in the first half, which was his competitive debut where his positioning was brilliant and instantly stopped the winger getting the ball, you just know that £#%&!ing idiot Rafael would have been stood looking some where else leading to them creating a chance or him running into them and giving away a daft free kick.

He will improve going forward but there is nothing wrong with having Shaw raiding forward and Darmain being more conservative with his main concern defending and giving us a solid shape when we attack.

This summers signings have been far better, Depay will be a beast as well, can't believe the shit he has got. Modern football though, twitter helmets who have never been to a game in their life wanting him to tear through teams in his first two games when he is young and has just moved to a huge club.

Lot of Memph snide from outside the club, too.

Yet no skepticism about that bloke Liverpool got in that role, who is older and did actually cost £30m.

Noticed that on SSN the other day "£31m" ffs.

Sure they put Uniteds buys as the full value what it could cost with add ons etc and don't with other clubs. The ABUs love it. "Depay cost you £31m hahahahahahaha" "Aguero cost £4m up front and the rest over 3 years!!!!"

Did tell you this was the best RB around not named Alves.

And Alves seemingly gone to pot after he snared another big payday out of Barca.

Definitely the most boring player in the squad. Has he said anything yet? Uttered a word since he landed from Turin? Makes De Gea look like the talking clock, ffs.

Reckon he just went straight to his car in his full kit after the final whistle. Probably in bed now.

Love him.

Those surges forward in the 2nd half
He'll get more adventurous going forward as he settles in

Pedro will be a huge help to him as I think he's weary of making runs past Mata as he knows Mata hasn't got the legs to cover him
