Exclamation Our defence last night

If not the worst we've ever started in a PL game, it can't be far off.

Dave is second in the saves league as well, just behind the Swansea keeper ffs.

Fletcher and Carrick as centre backs in the 3-0 against Fulham
Parker and Prunier in the 4-1 against Spurs in 1996

You play a pair of jokers in defence, what do you expect?

Fletcher and Carrick weren't jokers. There was literally nobody else. Was it that or the next season where Gill's son was on the subs bench

I was referring to Smalling and Jones as jokers

* There is an urban myth that you are never more than six feet from a rat. It’s nonsense, of course, but there is an accurate football version of the claim: you are never more than 15 minutes away from Phil Jones doing something silly.

We need to cut out individual errors. Take city for example, two goals from set pieces due to balls ups from Lukaku. Would have won 1-0 if that hadn’t have happened

Might have just been a stale 0-0 maybe. Our one goal came from an individual error of theirs, after we finally went forward in desperation after conceding.

They were striding through our midfield at will. Sounds familiar.

I can't quite believe I'm still watching Valencia, Smalling, Jones and Young.

Absolute 2011 of a defence.

Our goal came from a City error too..

You can't have it both ways.

City were better than us and deserved winners.

We have the midfield we should have had in 2011 tbh.

And it's still shite.

2nd in the league in February, still in the Eorupean and FA Cups. When did that last happen? 5 years ago under the greatest manager ever

It’s shite though

I’m not saying we shouldn’t be doing better btw. We definitely should.

The midfield pal. It was shite then and it's shite now.

Basel was 2011.

Oh right.

We’re one midfielder away from being very good though imo

Him and Guber are £#%&!ing detesable @#%&!s. If they had a shred of dignity or self awareness about them they'd ask for their Utd contracts to be terminated then go out to the training ground car park and shoot themselves between the eyes. But they'd probably £#%&! that up too and kneecap Sanchez and De Gea two hundred yards away.

Utter £#%&!ing belms

When he puts a ball into touch deliberately with the nearest opposition player 10 yards away because he can’t trust his touch

Thought we were looking better with Shaw at left back and then we have Young straight back on. Makes no sense. We were getting murdered down that side from what I saw last night (fast forwarded through the next day replay)

Midfield is no way shit. How they are being played week in week out certainly is.
