Nothing to do with them being scousers but put someone more dynamic in for Lallana and Henderson and you have a really handy front 6 there imo

Drop Alli in beside Dier, replace Henderson with Barkley and swap Clyne with walker and that looks like a decent young and attacking team.

Personally think he should have went with Kane and Vardy up top together, see how they get on. I think England have a real chance if Hodgson grows a set of balls and sticks with the form players for the tournament..

Agreed - Understand why he hasn't but it's a ball dropped. It doesn't totally make sense either, why play Wellbeck?
