Yeah, most of his denials are usually 'we dont speculate' style.

There, he seems to flat out deny it.

Also didn't seem too interested in signing ANY centre back

Hopefully that changes when he manages to bin off a few

I could see that being an area that is further down the priority list.

Lindelof, Bailly and the fact we have lots of back up is probably enough to keep it that way.

Attack and midfield should be the priority, can’t help but look at the fact that the goalkeeper and CB’s cost us a lot though.

Maybe he doesn't want to unsettle the ones we have in any way during the run-in?
It's an obvious weak spot so he wants them all focused. Til the season ends, then drop the axe.

Hopefully, he’s been pretty good with the softly, softly, GTFO approach so far

Right sided forward is the priority because we really only have James and I think we know he's not good enough/not ready.

The other areas that need addressing are CB, DCM and LB.

I don't think Ole sees LB as an issue, and the cover we have in the other areas is going to necessitate a sell before we can buy policy.

It's why I can't see 3 or 4 coming in.

I think Sancho and any respective fallback options are the main objective and probably another midfielder after that if we can shift 3 or 4 off the wage bill.

De Gea is currently making GK a increasing priority too, but I think he'll be backed regardless.

I can see 3 or 4, think he said as much, although that may have been pre-COVID.. he’s said he wants a striker/forward for certain.

Just going on the last few windows, we struggle to get these big deals over the line. With all that's going on, I think it'll be tougher than ever.

It's 3 or 4 of real quality too. Bruno types in their position. Not the Dan James, fleshing it out type.

I think we need to shift the likes of Lingard, Jones, Rojo, Sanchez if we're to do more than two and that could prove tough.

I'd very happy with shifting that lot, getting Sancho in and one more at either CB or DM.

If he can’t have a word with an opposing player after a game without 50 articles, 20 blogs, 10 YouTube vids and a million tweets; I doubt he would give away who or what’s he’s looking for in the transfer window.

True, but as pointed out above, when asked about a player he’s interested in he’s generally far more vague and non-comittal.

Maybe he is a little embarrassed his transfer objectives for the summer were inadvertently broadcast to millions of people around the world...
