As much of a loon he is, they brought him in to keep them up which, he did. Now they give him 5 games

Player power.

You can only (repeatedly) blame every single member of your playing staff for so long it seems, whilst taking absolutely no responsibility for any problems yourself.

Nazi #@&%! leaves small time club.

It was a stupid appointment.

You can upset one or two players but not the whole team.

They all hate him, he's fined half of them for no reason.

He's got a screw loose.

The Black Cats squad used a team meeting to tell their under-fire boss they
had lost all faith in him and want him out of the door.
Di Canio had called the summit at Sunderland’s Academy of Light training
ground yesterday morning following Saturday’s embarrassing 3-0 defeat at
West Brom.
And after the Italian accused his squad of not playing for him, they turned on their manager in a bitter vocal exchange led by the club’s British stars.
Di Canio ended the meeting by insisting he would not quit but the players insisted they would not play for him again

Even at lowly Swindon his over-bearing, arrogant, authoritarian antics ruffled feathers. You take that into a premier league club full of egos and millionaires; you're asking for trouble.

The essential problem is that Paolo Di Canio is not all the ticket. As my dad would say - all his bees aren't barking at his picnic.
