Berbatov missed. As did Rio, it happens. Tevez however should be ashamed of his display, embarrassing tbh.

One of the worst penalties I've ever seen from Berbatov there.

Everton's players looked full of confidence when they picked the ball up, even Cahill strangely. United's looked like they were £#%&!ing shitting themselves.

Shame the only team interested in attacking lost but that's football.

what the hell was that?

Rio and Vidic taking pens.

Got what we deserved, would have breezed that with a slightly stronger team, think Fergie just weakened it too much on the day.

Berbatovs pen - oh dear, you always look a bit silly when its stopped...

What do you think of Tevez' abject display mate? Macheda and Welbeck looked a lot better.

Here we go.

The usual Berbatov £#%&!ing rubbish, everyone blaming someone etc. It's £#%&!ing pathetic. What else could we do today? Sacrifice all the first teamers and then they're £#%&!ed for Portsmouth?

The kids did really well against a more or less first string top 5 side.

Give it a £#%&!ing rest and get behind United.

we bring on a player in extra time and he looks the most tired of the 22 on the pitch and then as a striker cant even manage to score a penalty.

I wouldn't say it didn't mean anything to them. More a case of the league/CL meaning a whole lot more. To be honest I am dissapointed by the order of the penalties though - surely we should be going 1-5 in order of the best takers. Can't believe Rio and Vidic would be 2 and 3 in that list, though. Maybe a case of the senior players wanting to step up..

tbh can you blame him? his future should have been sorted out long ago. he gets given a game every few weeks, how's he supposed to get a bit of form without playing regulary?

Everton fans in the crowd, grown men and their wives hugging and kissing each other like it's their wedding day all over again

Get a grip, Chelsea will spank this lot in the final.

I pissed off about having to win things on penalties. Hopefully it's a kick up the arse to the players. Kids did well today.

Agreed. Thought the kids were superb today, lost to the lottery of pens. People will blame Berbs for the defeat, despite him not being on the pitch for most of it. The only player who needs to look at themselves after that is Tevez. Utter disgraceful performance.

It was the risk he took. If Berbatov scored that, you'd all think he was cool as fook.

But i can't figure that whole performance out in general. Every decision Fergie made today seemed to be writing off the FA Cup.

Sticking kids out in a semi final;
Electing Rio and Vidic to take penalties over Tevez, Scholes etc.

It looks like he didnt rate the FA cup, didnt want that extra date in the calendar, and sabotaged our chances of winning it. Im not being all dramatic, im not really that arsed to be fair, hope Everton win it.

tevez didnt even take a penalty. shocking.

anyway, im happy with the performance today. 8 changes and we looked like winning the whole way through. Cant win em all, the da silva twins were outstanding especially rafael, welbeck got better as the game went on. Tevez and park have lost so much form to me, its shocking.

Cant be bothered getting into the Berbatov argument.

Why didn't Tevez take a penalty? He was probably the best penalty taker on the pitch.

%@#$&!s, somebody provided stats recently and Tevez has played a lot more than you think. Surely you'd play better to earn a permanent move here? Sadly no matter what his fan boys say, he is slow, his touch is laughable at times and he isn't a great finisher. He should be doing a Dirk Kuyt job for us.

Also, i thought Tevez had a decent game, he never stopped battling, he wasnt given a decent strike partner to work with either. A couple shit shots, but nothing really bad about his performance.
