If you play The Scottish Player deep after years of seeing it not work, it’s on you.
I can only hope he bought him on as a "shop window" thing, because we are getting rid next month.

Though we also saw the flaw in any such plan.

Shall we get a man motivator next? A tactician perhaps? Former Hero?

I really do live in the kingdom of the blind.

Really hard to find any positives from that. Amad looked ok and had a few nice touches. Garnacho is still dangerous, even when he has a poor game. The rest was just awful.

Tbh it is simply a matter of waiting for Ratcliffe to make his changes, whatever they may be.

This season is a write off and has been for a while now.

It's good to see that they're being coached much better now that they only have one game a week

Yea thought he was a bright spark.

Too many injuries , shit players, shit sub bringing The Scottish Player on. (Unless mainoo was injured )

Eriksen showed his age but if only three years ago they signed a CM. But it’s ok because he was on a free.

Reaping the rewards of constant mismanagement . Hopefully Ratcliffe can start making decisions asap .

Yep.

We deserve nothing. We got lucky getting back into it but we’ve been abysmal level, behind and level again.

We had to kick on after Boxing Day. Instead, we did absolutely were shit at:

Passive slow football
Careless forward play
Switching off after we score
Conceding the same kind of goals

Then, when chasing:

Petulant, desperate and panicked

I really want ETH to work and he’s had a lot going against him out of his control, but most of the problems now are being created by him.

The output, let’s be honest, is as bad as it’s been or thereabouts since Fergie left.

There’s being patient and accepting there is a process, but a process should be progressive. The big concern is that we’re considerably worse than last season in every way. If this was last season and last season was this, there would be plenty to be optimistic about.

We’re getting to that point where the urgency of the here and now will supersede any patience or faith in ETH.

It’s hard to see him turning this around. Bar the odd death rattle isolated game like the other day, We look done.

Well that's not true this week is it.

Just one league game in January, at least that might mean we finally get a fuller squad back.

We're now in a position where the INEOS team can give everyone 6 months to prove they should still be here. Clean slate, no favourites, etc.

I can only remember them actually playing for 45 minutes of those.
And it was 8 days

£#%&!ing state of the team we had there at the end, is it any wonder we're getting turned over every other week? Nobody to call off the bench to get a goal, nobody on the pitch besides Garnacho who looks to do anything remotely brave with the ball.

Onto our 5th choice centre back, Eriksen just treading water the entire game, two right backs both of whom are shit, subbing a decent prospect in midfield to put on that £#%&!ing caber tossing highland shithead who was nowhere to be seen for the entire half.

And for the love of christ can we please never put rashford up front again, it's utterly pointless, you may as well stick a mannequin up there for all the good he does at centre forward. he's beyond shite at it.

2023 can't end soon enough tbh. Aside from winning the League Cup back in February it's been 10 months of utter £#%&!ing garbage.
