Another fan I am a big fan of, another band it's almost impossible to choose a favourite song by. If I am going to be stuck on a desert island I at least want a song like this to be playing in the background to give the impression of being on a luxorious island, with sun, sea and surf that the stark reality of being deserted.

Your choice is Stephen King's post-apocalyptic science fiction/horror adventure novel: The Stand

I'm not a religious man in any way at all, so the bible (often the choice) is not for me. I much prefer a good novel, and they don't come any better than The Stand.

At 1300 pages it will keep me busy, it's one of those books that each time you read it there is always something that you had forgotten.

And now the most indespensable item you can't do without on Tissue Island - your bed!
