Why will Fred be missing? He’s got a fortnight off hasn’t he?

There’s no point whinging, the midfield has been poor and he’s not getting a look in. When the attack has struggled, he’s not getting a look in. That has to be because he’s not doing the necessary in training to suggest he can offer something. He needs to graft, perform in training and start pushing his case for minutes.

The problem is we have not seen enough of him to determine if Ole is blind or not. Bit of a chicken and egg this one. Don’t quite see the answer unless we loan him out for a few games and let someone else find out for us.

We need to play the lad and see what he’s got.
seems like he has a dick of an agent.

as for the football, he's a neat little player that doesn't really suit the way we play and, in any case, plays in a position where we have talent. it's not going to be doing him any favours playing him as a lone dm (nor did it do fred any favours). bruno can't play every game, though.

Saw something earlier saying they would be calling up Premier League players after all. Can't see anything else about it now though, so could be wrong.

He was an opportunistic Woodward signing

He’s not Ole’s guy and he’s never really impressed that much when on the pitch
For all we know he doesn’t look much good in training

Feel sorry for the lad for being put in this situation but no way we could let him leave with the paucity of midfield options that we have

Contender for the strangest post Fergie signing

I see no one wants to bring up the fact his agent is chatting shit again about how donny is not a carling cup or fa cup player and is here to play premier league games only

Wonder why most of you have “missed” this news

I saw it, was gonna bring it up but it's obvious to a few of us he is a bad apple.

For others, he seems to be living off of the fact he played in a team which won a couple of away games in the CL a few years ago.

He is a turd which needs to be flushed.

Because some of us aren't as mental as to wake up before 8.30am, scour the news to find ammo to stir up shit on an internet football forum.

Hth.

Because he didn't cost £80 million quid

There's far far fewer oddballs that tout him as a world class footballer at every opportunity

He has barely any presence outside of the game

His agent isn't publicly saying that his player wants to leave the club every other week.

There's a difference between a player that's barely done anything and their agent thinking they're better than the League Cup, and a player that's barely done anything and their agent thinking they're better than the club.

To be fair agent does pipe up every couple of months.

And got a point tbf. We should have let him go, he’s got Everton written all over him.

Read an interview with Van Basten, basically said the last 12 months have proven Donny just isn't that good, said playing as a 10 in the Ajax system is a lot easier than going to try and play the same role in England or Spain.

Not saying I totally agree with him, still think Donny is a good footballer, just not sure how or where he fits into a Utd team without major changes to accommodate him, dont think he is good enough to warrant major changes.

This is the thing, he's in that awful position where he's not good enough to get a regular game - but not shit enough to simply get rid.

Play him as an 8 and Pogba on the left. It's not £#%&!ing rocket science is it?

Unless he cant tackle and has no positional discipline

We have seen tiny glimpses of him, can anyone say with confidence he has the right skill set and mentality to play cm in the premier league?
