Ngl, some of us thought he had a bit of a mercenary vibe to him as well. Fair to say that isn't being borne out thus far.

Excellent today on the whole

£#%&!ed up a bit for the equaliser but that’s how it goes

That front three has everything and should start the big games.

His little flicks and touches onto the players either side of him are underrated. He keeps the play ticking with one touch

Agree and that’s what caused the equaliser but as you say majority of the time those little things is what makes him so good and open the game up for the other attackers.

Yep. His work rate puts some of the others out there to shame.

Would have loved that header near the end to go in.

Yeah he deserved it

What a ball from Bruno but Cav timed the run perfectly

I didn’t have expect him to be so good.

Watch his movement into the space, and how he hung in the air Denis Law-like. What a goal that would have been.

He has been a great signing and was excellent in and out of possession today.

I'd play him every week if he is fit, and use Martial as the alternative off the bench.

“Mason has grown, matured, and he’s been training with Edinson Cavani for half a season now. I’m very confident that Mason will chip in with goals and assists.”

On Cavani, he added: “What he brings is, you know when a striker of that age runs almost 12km… he chases down the centre-back, their keeper, tackles the centre-midfielders…

“He makes a mistake against Liverpool and he’s the closest to winning it back in his own 18 yard-box. His reaction, his work-rate, his habits, his humility… I can go on and on.

“His experience and attitude has been a lesson for every single one of us.”

Seems almost odd to have a CF playing like a CF. Been a long while. His link up play is lovely. He’s the player I desperately wanted Falcao to be
