He's actually got a lot more in his locker than he's showing atm. Can dribble and beat a man which we haven't really seen yet.

Can understand him keeping it simple for now while he finds his feet and gets some game time.

State of it all.
Thought you knew your stuff. Disappointing.

It’s a strange one. They either sail over the crossbar or they’re absolutely on the money. There’s no inbetween.

Don’t know about anyone else, but I just feel more comfortable with him there than AWB. Especially from an attacking perspective. If he continues to improve defensively, then he’s clearly the current first choice imo.

Does that not apply to everyone at the club though?

Pleasantly surprised that he is actually turning out to be useful.

Clearly missing AWB on our corners as without him we can be countered in with little to no effort, AWB always did will on the cover on counters.

We have been dog shit for conceding off our own corners for a couple years now. AWB included in that

It’s a tough job for one man to handle. We look more open now than we have previously.

I think we have always looked open . I’m sure the Everton goal which Fred #@&%!ed up. Same with the Istanbul a couple years back. I could go on. AWB doesn’t sure is up any more or corners than dalot.

It’s clearly a shitty set up from our world class set piece coach. We can’t score of our corners so we give the opposition a chance

Pure class this boy.

What a waste of £55m on AWB.

50+m ffs

With this lad and Laird at the club you’d think the logical thing to do was bring in an experiences right back instead.

Ole did seem to take an instant disliking to Diogo for what ever reason.

Strained every sinew to be above average. Fair play.

Upgrade required asap.

‘Luis who’. ‘Who’ has to replace the second name, like you don’t recognise the name.

Might head straight over to the reasonably intolerant thread.

He’s stepping up and optimising what he has, but he’s not the long-term answer.

Much more disciplined and got stuck in. His crossing is not generally good enough. Strange point last night when him and Malacia swapped flanks.

I'd keep him around but he's not good enough long term.

Christ this thread is all over the place, Dalot is a great prospect being doubted by people who don't rate what Wes Brown did at utd, do you even know what you are watching

He's coming on in leaps and last night proved it.

Blasphemy, Wes Brown at his worst was better than Dalot will ever be.
