You could have Ronaldo and Rashford or Greenwood (or even Cavani if he could stay fit) as the two up front
Bruno and Sancho as the two in behind them

That could definitely work

Good appointment on paper, especially staying on and moving upstairs. My only worry is, is it to late, like Van Gaal and Mourinho? What is he doing at Locomotive Moscow?

Head of Sports and Development.

Hopefully he'll still have some influence there so he can send all our shit@#%&!s off to the Eastern Front.

Yep.

All top players should be flexible

I suppose the difference is that he's only in as manager for 6 months and rumours suggest we will be looking to replace him with a likeminded up and comer.

I personally am going into this with no expectations either way, but feeling positive that he'll at least have time to assess the squad and hopefully have some part in looking at where we need to improve (along with the next manager). I couldn't say with confidence how I think the rest of this season will go one way or the other, but this definitely feels like a good move long term.

There's a chance it could be a disaster of course, but it can only be a good thing having him as part of the process of identifying our next manager and possibly transfer targets IMO.

Seems what I read was legit.

Murtough has made some big moves since his promotion

Also…

No problem with Carrick staying on tbh

Rashford will be featuring the least all our forwards in a matter of months.

About time as well!
