There’s some let downs in the squad, but there’s also this ‘half pressing’ because we don’t have a real plan. Nobody is committed and having it drilled into them every day, as an approach they believe in.

Ronaldo was gesticulating to his team mates in the first half during the week to press them but no one knew how to do it so they played out of our press fairly easily

I think Ronaldo will be much happier playing in a front foot proactive team even if he doesn’t press all the time
