"it's time to look forward. the focus is on the next game. which we're looking forward to."

I would follow this man over the top and on to certain death.

When I think of some of the characters that played for us over the years, I ask myself how in the hell things ended up in the hands of Michael charisma Carrick

No excuses for the lads now with these two dynamic motivators leading the way.

The only good thing about Carrick is that even if he wins his first 10 games in charge his obvious lack of suitability as a manager will stop our fans clamouring for his appointment permanently.

Cos he gets us / he’s a legend / he’s got the United DNA…insert bullshit Scouse-ism.

Apparently, Carrick is refusing to park in Ferguson and Ole's car parking spaces.

He's using Wan Bissaka's empty space for now, but £#%&!ing hell

He is to Ole, what Arteta is to Pep.

Why didn't he keep his own space?

Genuinely, may as well have given it to Keane for all the use Carrick will likely be.

Some of them players are beyond coaching, they need an absolute %@#$&!ing. And a few slaps.

Phelan has got a camper van parked in it. Refuses to move it.

He was one of the most intelligent players we've had over the years in how he played the game. That doesn't guarantee he's able to transfer his own nous as an individual player to coaching or managing but I hope his ideas reflect the way he played. Positive forward passing, midfielders demanding the ball rather than hiding, getting the best out of technical players like Van De Beek. I think Ole had this blueprint going well initially to be fair but something changed where he kept relying on two central midfielders in the team for energy and off the ball work but who were average at best with the ball at feet.

Keane would have whipped the squad in to something resembling a professional, driven group of players.

Instead of the mental weaklings we have at the moment.

I despise them.

There were a few diffences, notably being proactive with subs. He set us up right and we did the basics much better. Rocky first twenty minutes, but we grew into it and managed it well.

Can’t have been easy for the guy in the last few days and he’s had pretty much nothing but relentless shit on here sitting next to Ole

Terrific result to his name. Well done, you slack jawed biff 👍

Happy for him

Always liked Carrick

Any sort of result against Chelsea and he’ll be given the job until the summer…. Maybe beyond.
