how wrong was i that big ron was the future? i wasn't keen on fergal, wasn't glitz and looked like doom was written in his wrinkles. we had won the fa cup and everything

We sold Highes and spent the money on:

Colin Gibson.
Terry Gibson.
Peter Davenport.
Chris Turner.
John Sivebaek.

the only thing you could say about him was that he wasn't terry gibson

remember that season very well far far too much talk early on about winning the league .

if you'd me then that it would have been another 8 years and a change of manager before it was won I'd have cried all the way to breakdancing

I tried very hard to like Colin Gibson, Davenport and Turner. As a youth you support more blindly.
Sivabaek came with a big reputation and was very exciting at first, it took about a month to realise he was utter shite.
Terry Gibson I hated from the very moment I looked at the sawn off little @#%&!. £#%&!ing disgrace.
