Rather one dimensional to think we have one XI it all depends on who we are playing and where and how do they play. You'd like to hope the coaching team have gone beyond a Level 1 badge.
If we are playing a side who will have more possession and attack us then James maybe has a role but if we're at home against a side that defends deep he doesn't. We probably don't need a 4-2-3-1 for those games but a more fluid 4-3-3. In a 4-2-3-1 we will have fewer chances so I'd pick Greenwood above Martial or play Rashford up top. 4-2-3-1 De Gea, AWB, Maguire, Lindelof, Williams , Fred, The Scottish Player, Fernandes, Pogba, Rashford, Greenwood. To accommodate James stick Rashford at 9. 4-3-3 Same back 5 Fred, The Scottish Player Pogba Rashford Martial/Greenwood Fernandes |

The 3/5 at the back system has worked better for us imho as it has meant we have not been as overloaded (granted only Tranmere and City) but i d keep with it to see how it develops with these players. Drop the Zonal marking straight away as well as the playing out from the back!!
Pogba can GTFO - not interested how good he thinks he is. Not even bench for me. I Would want us to be more mobile on the flanks and given our limitations I think Dalot and James are the only real options who will also help make the back 3 into a 5 when needed.
