a very valid point was made about Dortmund and their funding being reliant upon fans support financially....if teams have to continue playing being closed doors, a fan funded club like Dortmund will be severely impacted by that and i'm sure they've taken that into account which is why they are trying to get as much money out of selling Sancho as possible.

We know the deal will happen it's just how long will this back n forth take place before the sword fighting ends.

Yep, a lot more of our income comes from TV and sponsorship than theirs. They would make more on matchday as you're allowed pints in the stands and with 80,000 thirsty Germans that would be a fair whack every home game they are missing out on.

I thought tickets for the German clubs were about 50p each or something?

Not quite. Bayerns cheapest standing ST is 145€. Dortmunds is 219€.

Same thing happens with all our transfers. Wan, Maguire, pogba....takes a while to the point the selling club always gets pissed off.

Like said before, last share meeting Woodward bragged about how much media/twitter attention the club gets during transfers. We probably milk it out for a few extra retweets.

Or, this is all perfectly normal for all big transfers and we need to stop taking all the social media whisperings as gospel.

I'm sure all this crap happened in the 90s too. We just didnt have access to it all (not to mention people making shit up on the internet to get likes, shares and retweets), you'd just turn on the news one day and there was Andy Cole or Eric Cantona Pure style scarf shot.
