he then wanted canciedo and went for Declan’s rice when it feel through.

Liverpool wanted that lavia and canciedo and went for someone else instead

You have alternatives.
You can’t blame it on him not getting his targets, because at the end of the day a lot of managers don’t get their initial targets but get the 2nd or 3rd choice.

Not sure how we won a league title after Fergie not getting Shearer or Hirst.

Because signing Declan rice instead of caicedo is the same as missing out on De jong , then missing out on Rabiot and settling for an aging player from Madrid who’s clearly on the wrong side of 30
