possebon should have started over o'shea, only 5 on the bench? seems a bit odd........hopefully campbell is on the bench so he can come on.

Don't see the point in starting O'Shea. We know what he is and isn't capable of - surely a friendly against a decent European side is a good time to assess how close our youngsters are to being involved in the first team.

There's 2 more on the bench. The Pole and somebody else, probably Campbell or Simpson, I can't remember.

Edit: It was Campbell, tweets is also on the bench. Juve have 11 subs.

A big chance for Lee Martin at the moment, you would have to think he is going to be in and around the 1st team for the first month or so.

Talented if a bit dumb, in a footballing sense, if he can start making the right decisions he could be useful.

shop window me thinks. ill be amazed if he appears in more than 5 competitive games for us this season

If Carrick, Rooney etc are not gonna make the first game then it makes perfect sense to put this team out - like it or not, it's our best team at the moment so it needs to gel.
