Was some game that as well. Only finished one - nil but we attacked for 90 minutes solid and could have ten goals easily.

Ah remember the days when we used to play attacking free flowing football. Seems like a different £#%&!ing lifetime.

Glad he didn't have to see this shower.

Remember going to OT when we heard. Rammed it was down Warwick Road.

There was no commentary when it was shown live at the time. Just the piper and the deafening silence of all the fans.

The devastatingly simple tribute left several large things in my eye anyway.

Had a respect for Everton ever since - yes even now.

Compare them to the 'impeccable' @#%&!s on the 50th with their air bombs outside :shakehead:

Seem to recall being in the standing bit behind the goal for that Everton game (there still was one wasn't there? I'm not imagining it?, great performance as Bellers says, half a lifetime away.

It was very moving indeed.....these days you'd have that #@&%! Keegan bellowing a hastily put together obituary whilst the teams walked out

'DO SOME SILENCE OLD TRAFFORD FOR SIR MATT BUSBYYYYYYYYYYYYYY"

Had a big part in choosing him instead of the likes of Clough, reportedly

Which does not diminish the greatness of the man in any way whatsoever. It is human to make mistakes, the important thing is learn from them.

No further comment.
