I think there's about 3 pundits/hacks who have backed us. Not that it really bothers me really, it's always been this way.

What? How would us not having Van Persie have allowed Swansea to score another 3 goals?

What on earth is that man doing on television? Sky sacked andy gray and keys for saying things that were far less offensive than that crackpot's opinions on the disabled and re-incarnation.

You don't remember his 3 brilliant goal line clearances? Always hacks me off, that line of thinking.

He briefly showed promise as a manager, tbf. But his essential @#%&!itude ultimately asserted itself.

Swansea barely had any chances. Moyes and United ruined te script for a lot of people yesterday and they don't like it.

His treatment of Beckham during and just after the 1998 WC was genuinely disgusting. Never forget.

Superb footballer but an absolute wingnut of a bloke. His family should cart him off to Dignitas.

I think his playing days were overrated. Very inconsistent at Spurs until his final season there, did well in a piss poor French league and was largely average for England, when he could get into the team. Also took a perfect free kick for making keepers look like superstars.

I thought he actually had England playing some decent stuff, has good ideas on the game and would still make a decent England manager. If he wasn't such a basket-cased cretin that most of the players disliked.

He *was* treated fairly shabbily by England in his playing days, tbf. Helps explain (though not excuse) his dickishness to some degree, I suspect.
