I refuse to believe that there isn't a centre back out there in the £#%&!ing world who wouldn't be an immediate upgrade on that shower of clowns we currently have, that wouldn't require a world record £#%&!ing fee.

Christ almighty, is that really the limit of our scouting prowess? Harry £#%&!ing Maguire?

And also, without wishing to point out the obvious, but wouldn't it have been sensible for United to ask the player if he fancies joining us before we go slapping in 70 million quid bids for the @#%&!?

By that logic we should be after any premier league defend who does ok for any premier league club.

Let's sign James Collins!
PL proven means he has played well in the PL and is used to the pace and style of the league. Pretty simple I would think. We've signed defenders in the recent past who haven't had this and took a long time to settle, if at all.

The question then becomes: is he a good enough player? I would say that he is while James Collins isn't. That's logic.
