Think they sent out Bacup reserves that day as they had a big one vs Preston coming up

Turned a corner?

Yeah that second half against spurs really felt like the beginning of something special.

£#%&! me, we'll be talking about the redmen coming over the hill in no time.

delusion has taken over

We'll have a good old huff n puff for maybe 20 mins or so but as soon as burnley score heads will drop again and they'll capitulate. Again.

we need to start off at a high tempo and get an early goal, and instead of sitting back on a single goal lead, we need to keep up the fast tempo, but we should have been doing this for the past god knows how long, Mourinho is now the third manager that has been on the brink, this shitness goes alot deeper than the coach in charge............

Depends on whether the ref allows some journeyman to kick lumps out of our players with impunity, under the guise of "passion".

We might win. We're capable of it..... but all this shit about turning corners and dropped pennies is horseshit.

The notion suggests that we're on the cusp, like something just needs to click.

We are a mess. There's no plan here that isn't quite being realised. We're a shambles from top to bottom.

We might win today and we might rally for the next few weeks with a bit of confidence, but the bigger issues that have us in the situation in the first place aren't suddenly going away.

There is nothing big happening with this current set up. Nothing.

I wholeheartedly agree. Anyone who thinks different is fooling themselves.

The manager will be gone soon, the next schmuck can then walk into this £#%&!ing dumpster fire.

The cracks will be firmly papered over after our win today. Regardless of a win, lose or draw Mourinho won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

Yep.

Mourinho is a stupid dick, but you can't put it all on him. The struggles him, LVG and Moyes have all had point to the club being the common denominator.

The change we really need is from the top down, not just a manager.

You could throw Pep or Klopp into this season and they'd shit out their giddy pseudo-intellectual brains within a couple of months too.

This.

We'd need to lose 4 or 5 on the spin for the board to even consider it. And we won't. We'll plod along and the club will pull the plug when it's too late in the season.
