Lingard is so much more effective in that 10 role, far better than from wide.

Utd look great, easily the best opening 20 minutes of the season, but it is incredible how abysmal Swansea have been, this league is full of utter shite, what City have done well is expose them, play with this pace and aggression and Utd should be able to do the same.

Easily 3 players short of being able to do so consistently...

it's too little too late though.
the Fellaini-Seville horse bolted 3 weeks ago.

We won't play like this next week or at Wembley against Spurs.
This is just a bit of damage limitation. A home banker with an aim to appease before the next cowardly snoozefest.

Not in this league, Utd have more than enough talent in the squad for the intent to be more consistently along these lines. Came out, attacked the game, numbers forward. If I was mischievous I would say that 2 weeks away from Mou was good for them.

Maybe but he is going to be here next season and if it is going to change we have to start somewhere. Played some lovely football, Swansea have been very willing partners but the fluidity of the attacking has been nice to see, Mata, Lingard and Sanchez having a field day, helped by Pogba playing an understated game for a change, moving the ball quickly supporting the attack.

Best half of the season
Pressing high, intensity on and off the ball as well as excellent combination play from midfield forward
Where has this been all season

Sure Swansea are terrible but we haven’t approached games like this all season and we’ve played plenty of shite

This should be the template going forward

I'm about to text them for help as I've run out of milk and can't drive to the shop because I've had a drink
