it's the same question of every manager - is he getting the best out of the players he has available? you can ask whether he's building something... whether he's worth sticking with.... but he still has to be able to do it now with what he has. and he's sucking big time. a pedestrian win at home over brighton doesn't erase what happened in europe. and beating liverpool didn't mean all is forgiven either - that kind of performance can win a game, but it can't win a league.

he needs to stop whining about his players and up his game. so £#%&!ing what if city didn't exist we'd be top? well... they do exist and they play exciting, watchable football and win. like we used to. and if we were top playing the way we are playing, we would still be £#%&!ing complaining. same as when fergie last won the league with a bunch of shit players.
To be fair, he's questioning their %@#$&!s, not their talent.

That's why he's trying to drive Luke Shaw towards suicide. I think.

If that’s all it takes, it just proves mourinho’s opinion is correct. Is it rocket science for a player to react the right way and prove mourinho wrong? Is it that difficult for a player to figure out? We don’t need shrinking violets. We need players who will react to adversity and overcome it like Keane, Bruce, Hughes, robson, butt, beckham, Giggs, Scholes, Neville etc etc.

Agreed, but the counter argument would be that some players need an arm around them...

...I'm not sure Mou is in the arm wrapping business.

True, but the ‘Who’s up Mary Brown era' was the best era ever in my opinion, even better than Fergie at his best

not sure the way to get the best out of a player is to call him gutless, lacking initiative and charisma..... if he's just trying to prove he can break him, what's the £#%&!ing point? shaw was our best player before he got injured. I think building him up might be a better option.

jose's position seems to be "I don't want to have to coach anyone.... if I can't buy the best players in the world and then leave them to play their own game without my help, how can anyone expect me to be successful?" what exactly is jose's contribution to the scheme? absolutely £#%&! all, it seems.

They're doing a pretty good job of proving "José" wrong lately pal.

This is an interesting point. so much of the argument around keeping him is that he will leave us a much better squad. Perhaps Utd should appoint him as the transfer director and allow someone else to work with the players

Plenty of his past players would seem to disagree with that.

Of course you would Jammy. It’s why everything you say is redundant.
