It is interesting how few of Fergie’s protégés have had any success in management, be it players or coaches. Working with one of the greatest managers in history and it hasn’t rubbed off. Perhaps due to lack of a formula in terms of tactics and coaching? You can’t teach his personality and human skills so after that it’s perhaps hard to replicate.
