I think finishing out the top 4 again is catastrophic for the glazers. They’ve spent a fortune since Moyes left us out of the top 4 and the club finds itself in the same place it was then, with no wad left to be shot.

2 conscutive seasons out of the champions definitely £#%&!s them. Big gamble for them. Easier to cash in and sell now.

It will never happen if woodward has a say. It’s something he puts out there every now and again to deflect blame from another £#%&! up he’s made on the footballing side of things. He’ll never willingly diffuse his power within the club by employing a DOF. He loves being the big man.

If you were touting the club around trying to sell it, would you want to spend 24m quid to sack the manager?

LvG failed to qualify as well as Moyes. It wasn't exactly catastrophic then.

But history shows us that the moment they fail to qualify, they're toast. Shame we leave it so late. LvG stayed a good 6 months longer than he should and Moyes should have never started.

If we wait until Spring again it wont really give the new manager time to identify targets and get to know the squad. It just makes a lot more sense to do it now. We're 2 and half years in and regressing rapidly. It is barmy keeping him in a job. The whole world knows he wont be here next season, so why keep up the charade?

well they will have to do something, because the more this goes on then their golden goose will start losing its shine ( it already is ) and the money they get will get smaller and smaller, the next kit contract for example will be no where near as high as this one if the team continues to bottom out... The sponsors will soon be running for the hills, and I for one is delighted, because for the club to rid themselves of the gimps we will have to collapse first and then a rebuild.....
Woodward has often boasted how performance on the pitch makes no difference, citing Liverpool’s sponsorships despite not winning the league for so long. He’s more interested in keeping the club in the news than he is building a team.

There was no reason to keep him once they decided to do what they did in the summer. But they thought they could £#%&! mourinho around, spend £#%&! all and still get top 4

No. If he could, he’d have handled the summer differently and we wouldn’t be in such a mess.

What evidence is there that either of those two are up and coming?

They’re young coaches at the beginning of their coaching career. I didn’t necessarily mean they were good or not.

Change it for coaching novices if you’d prefer.

They had more financial flexibility then. I don’t think they do now.
