It’s crazy money, but that’s just the way things are. Chelsea started it with that Enzo and then West Ham with Rice. Brighton are well Within their rights to compare and demand likewise. Liverpool meanwhile need him, so either pay up or £#%&! off and he goes to a rival. Ironically, they’re paying more because they got Macallister on the relative cheap and Brighton didn’t want to get mugged off again.

What players are actually ‘worth’ died a long time ago.

He doesn't score or create....I don't know it seems a lot of money for a mainly defensive minded midfielder

Seems to be flavour of the month at the moment but I don't see anything other than a really good midfielder but not some unmissable once in a generation type player
I’m hoping he’s Wilson Palacios.

People seem to think the Liverpool deal is £115m.

He was near enough mom in all the matches he played against us. I think he’s decent but never £110m. Crazy shit.

I like both him and McAllister - I think they’ll both do well.

I thought Mac Alister (nuisance of a name) was their best player in the semi and the away game. Would have loved him at United but alas.

Apparently his preference was Chelsea, so if they can match Liverpool’s bid then who knows….

Hilarious if this falls through tbh.
