probably goes to show the difference in dutch leagues. Has the same air about him as VDB. sort of looks like he is technically good but never really excells in any one department.

not super quick, strong, hasn't a pass on him, cant tackle or control the game etc etc

6 midfielders ffs. I don’t think we’ve got that many in the entire club.

City are the most boring team in the league now di Santo has gone. Will not watch.

De Bruyne looks heavy. Into his 30s now. Doesn’t look fit.

Got an incredible left peg tbf, not something Beeky can claim.

Is this the future of football in this £#%&!ing country now? A million midfielders all manically pressing each other into giving the ball away.

£#%&! off

I’ve thought that for a couple of years. He was one of the quickest players about at one point, regressing into Jan Molby now.

fair enough , i dont watch him really , he has just never sustained any mainstream praise, i assumed he didnt have anything outstanding in his locker.

its when it gets banded around as exciting football that is a bit perplexing. its boring up until 3 seconds before the goal.

I'm not just saying it because I support man utd. I was watching a championship game a few weeks ago and it was end to end excitement. Much better than any City game ( or united game , though the leeds game was good) ive seen this season.

I will say one thing, these guys know how to press. our £#%&!ers half arse it and it shows.

watch the off field movement by foden and such. Pressing isnt a technical ability. You just have to run. No excuses for putting in a half arse press
