“He’s not sure”

Nah, he’s just milking it. Most refs probably don’t wanna be arsed with all the hassle that comes with VAR. This guy will be loving it. A chance to make it all about him for as long as he chooses.

If only he sat on a bucket as well, the hacks would absolutely adore him then.

No doubt they'll be a statement on monday 'We got it wrong again'

I used to give alot of benefit to the refs due to the rules being shit. This is the most common sense decision I've seen but that is disgraceful

The standard of refereeing in this country is at an all time low. Ridiculous decisions every £#%&!ing week. Respect the refs?

VAR is really exposing some of these laws too.

That offside argument has been changed because of City v Villa. I reckon they’ll change that ‘double jeopardy’ after Southampton the other night.

That is clearly not an intentional elbow. I really don’t think these refs are quite sure how to interpret or apply any of these laws.

I hate the way they look at replays too. They play it on like a 1 second-long gif just looped round. You can’t get a feel for any of it or have any context.

The longer they look, the more likely they seem to give the decision too. It’s like they watch it until they convince themselves it’s correct.

They only use the screen for theatre. To help sell the decision to a crowd. As soon as a Ref is sent, the decision is made.

It's why the whole use the screen debate used to confuse me
