Probably, with Rooney dropping back.

Carrick and Giggs have combined well in the past

4-1 Swansea

Berbatov to score all five when he comes on for the final 12 minutes.

United played at the old vetch field eight times and the best they managed was a 2 -2 draw in 1938 followed by a 0-0 draw in 1982; otherwise, they have always left south wales with nothing.

Glad to see the fat brazilian is nowhere to be seen again.

Reckon Ferie has seen his arse with him, finally.

Thumbs down

So we've reverted to the Carrick/Giggs midfield axis of last season then
I thought we didn't buy a central midfielder because the Youngsters "couldn't be held back any longer":shakehead:

So Fergie was "happy" with his midfield options apparently, but it's only November & we've already played a 19 year old centre half in there, our best striker & now our veteran left winger.

City will have the £#%&!ing thing wrapped up before Cleverley's fit again.

REASONABLY happy with that. Glad Carrick and Giggs are back. Hopefully they'll provide a little more guile than recent performances. Good to see Rio and Vidic back as a pairing too. I think this'll be a tight one. 0-1.

Is this Carrick's first league start of the season? And Giggs' first stint in the middle this season?
