Red face Beckham

So we're apparently scouring Europe for a midfield playmaker !! ..putting aside the Liar 23 episode, it's patently obvious that the lad would walk over glass to finish his career at United.

Still works his arse off, still a model professional, can still ping a 50 yard cross field glory ball.. he wouldn't provide all the answers, but with our paltry midfield, he'd be a superb addition to the squad and I'm sure, accept the fact that he wouldn't be an automatic choice.

I see many benefits particularly when we're all a little deflated and not much of a downside.

Bin off Owen, Gibson and yes Anderson to keep him in hair gel !

What say you ??

If pinging a 50 yard glory ball is where it's at why don't we just put Rooney in midfield?

Perhaps if Didsbury had a McDonalds it'd be a clincher.

Many a time in the morning on the way out of Manchester I could just go a Sausage and Egg McMuffin, a couple of hash browns and their excellent but underated coffee.

Stockport's too far away and Princess Parkway would upset my Karma

Chorlton's even more out of the question, Ardwick has indeed been utilised.

Trip out involves Upper Brook Street, past the old International (road ?) , Kingsway..

East Didsbury would be ideal.

And no, Burger King is not an option.
