Pays Sanchez' wages for a couple of weeks at least.

Pochettino guided Tottenham to their first ever European Cup final with an extraordinary 3-2 victory over Ajax on Wednesday night and was originally earmarked as the ideal candidate to replace Mourinho back in December, hence why Solskjaer was parachuted in on an interim basis. United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward indicated the club would not make a decision on the managerial situation until the end of the season but Solskjaer was installed on a three-year contract with at least 10 games remaining and United outside the Premier League top four. United have won two of their last 11.

If he manages to make a success of things as they are now, he will indeed be a worthy successor to SAF.

Best of luck, he will sure need it.

A lot of the support seem as toxic as the players. Seems the team reflects the fans quite well these days.
