Said the same last night, and most times he's lining one up. Strange for a player who can seriously @#%&! it from distance and score some belters. Think he needs to be on the run though for some reason

We do need a decent dead ball taker. Not sure how good Young is at 'em, but even his delivery last night wasn't the best. Rooney's not bad from anwhere inside 20ish yards but after that he's fooling himself.

Young was something of a dead ball specialist at Villa, seems like our coaches have got to work on that and reduced him to the level United expect these days now though

Why isn't Young having a go? How many times is he seriously allowed to take a dogshit free kick?

the rooney-young ones at the start of the season were great, then we just stopped doing them

young takes a good free kick, used to take them for villa quite often and can blast or place them. don't know why he doesn't take at least some because nani's are shite as you say.

Yeah, anything close to the edge of the area and I'd be using the Rooney-Young technique that worked well in the 8-2.

This. Nani never takes a good freekick, ever, once he has time to think he £#%&!s things up. But he still hangs around the deadballs like antonio valencia hangs around a touchline, like a creep, refusing to be aware of himself. Young's nerve has gone. He should be taking them all the time though.

Harsh, he was £#%&!ing woeful last night but he was playing a different position, well trying to, after a month out injured. He should be taking our freekicksas you say though but that would result in Nani's toys flying all over the place.

Young should be taking them. I don't understand that one.

When we signed Young I thought "meh, but at least our free kicks might improve".

They haven't.

Me too. We do seem to get more of them though.

He £#%&!ing pissed me off towards the end of the game when he had the ball behind the FB but rather than play on he looked for contact and went down trying to win a free kick and got £#%&! all I was £#%&!ing screaming for some to @#%&! him. Stupid @#%&!.

Remember when Ronaldo took them all and didn't score for ages - they'd just rocket high and wide. It's similar imo although I doubt Nani will ever become a real threat at free kicks the way Ronnie is.

early days for young, needs to impose his authority on the free kicks and tell nani to GTF out of the way. It'll come

Giggs, Rooney & Young are perhaps the best we have.

£#%&! knows why Young let Nani have the one on the edge of the box last night?

There always seems to a lot an anticipation when Nani is lining up a free kick too. Anyone know why? Has he even scored one for us? I can't remember one off the top of my head.
