You should see some of the shit that's said about him on RI, the amount of little @#%&!s who do nothing but bad mouth him is pathetic. Usually led by a few @#%&!s who used to post on here, Lou Macari Chippy, Tropical and Stan Tier2 being the main ones.

Where are all 3 of them? I know Troppers saw his arse, but are the other 2 posting on RI?

I remember where I was when I found out we'd sacked Atkinson. I was very excited, not quite as much as when we signed Andy Cole (the giddyometer went into overdrive that day) but still excited.

There's no doubt he's the best manager this country has ever seen but when you look back, there are some events that conspired nicely in our favour. Who would have ever thought Dion Dublin breaking his leg would have turned out so well for us? What about not signing David Hirst? Then you have the other side of course, what if we'd signed Shearer or Essien? What if Eric hadn't got a 10 month ban? I know it's all ifs and buts but when you've been around as long as SAF has you get what you deserve at the end of the day. What goes around comes around, if you wait long enough. Well done Fergie.
