they can't buy everyone. they're not mou-era chelsea.

maybe haaland wanted to play clean?
Ok, Barcelona then. They’re absolutely gagging for a centre forward.

But we both know this isn’t about regular market forces, don’t we? If it were, every single top club in the entire world would have been in for him.

did you miss the bit about haaland wanting to play clean?

to win the cl (or do better in their respective leagues), city or barca would want a finished article type, not a prospect. I think dortmund will have been pleasantly surprised by his immediate impact, but let's see how he does when he's had his legs taken from under him a few times.

The Chinese lad we've just loaned is the focus of our attack. Focus on that.

ok. the chinaman with the tan is the focus of our attack because we didn't buy haaland. is that what you meant? if not, this might not be the thread. not sure if odion is the back-to-goal type, but he's a decent enough player and he's better than chong.

And we’d have said the same about pogba, Di Maria and Sanches if we hadn’t have signed them. There’s more to it than just talent.

We have no idea why we didn’t sign him. Could be on the club, could be on the player and agent. One thing for sure is woodward and the glazers are c***s; and the player, his dad and agent have no feeling for united.

Jem’s actually right

It was much more than that if the money to the agent and father is to be believed. Plus there’s the pogba situation and dynamic that’s created. If the player had a different agent he’d probably be here now. The fact he’s not could be down to any number of things - the money the agent was demanding from united, the terms of the deal with regards clauses, the politics of the pogba situation, or raiola steering the player away from the club because he doesn’t think it’s the best environment for his development. We have no idea.

Please elaborate
The same way we were still the biggest club in Britain when we were relegated and went 26 years without winning the league.

Maybe he isn't in Pochettio's plans and club decided not to pursue...

Don’t be alarmed, but I’ve noticed you’re subconsciously morphing the word Pochettino into Pinnochio...
