He has talent, people act like hes a kid though, Hes 23. Same as Nani. I would never swap Nani for him. And I prefer Valencia over him too.

If Valencia doesnt come back fit then we should get another winger.

Its extraordinary how much hype an English player who is something out of the ordinary run of the mill shit gets. As you say, looks like it might have gone to his head.

I don't get the Johnson hype at all, he's a good player and nothing more. If you had the choice would anyone choose him over Bale?

he's ok, nothing more as you say. typical overspend on an english player, seen it with chelsea on the likes of swp, arsenal with jeffers etc.

don't think mancini playing him on the right (when he does play him) is doing him any favours either.

I'd rather spend an extra couple of mill on the likes of Johnson than our current scattergun approach of bringing in raw Foreign talent like Bebe & Obertan.

I want us to have a healthy quota of British players when the likes of Scholesy, Nev, Giggs, Wes, Rio & co call it a day.

i agree on the second point, but with evans, smalling, fletcher, carrick, gibson, rooney in and around the side, plus welbeck, cleverley, james etc likely to be coming through i think the balance is being maintained.

johnson's fee and wages were never released but given city's record i think it's fair to assume you'd be looking at a bit more than an extra couple of million in any case.

personally if it's young local talent you want then i'd be looking at jordan henderson and lee cattermole at sunderland, james mccarthy at wigan and jack rodwell at everton rather than johnson. he's not my type of player but andy carroll at newcastle has improved tremendously over the last year as well.

right well then he was injured before the WC and would've been in the squad otherwise. sure I'm right on at least that point!!

googled it: had a crappy season prior to the tournament but had been injured too....

£#%&! him.

interesting that rather than compare Johnson against Valencia, Nani and Giggs he's compared with Bale, Obertan and Bebe. that says it all for me.

still waiting for the usual idiots to repeat their claims for the rest of City's midfield being better than United's though

£#%&!'s sake.

Chelsea rich as Croseus.
City richer than Croseus.
Vermin apparently debt free.

And since those @#%&!s have been here we've won more than all of them put together and look at the state of us.
