Nobody is giving ETH a penny after how it was spent in the summer. At the same time can’t see how we get through the second half of the season without at least a new striker. Something will have to give.

Loaning a striker makes sense. It could be the difference between top 4 and Europa.

With players back and an experienced striker we might scrape 4th. There's no way that happens without one.

I agree we need another striker but we also need to radically change our approach to providing chances for whoever plays there. The service Hoijlund receives is woeful. Until that is dealt with, I can’t see anything materially changing.

I was thinking if we are going to loan then may as well chase that lad from Stuttgart with the ridiculously low release clause. 17 in 14 games. But then you have to ask what's the point if he has Garnacho/Antony/Rashford never passing to him. We could get Kane and he'd struggle.
