Nah, Utd were trying for Berbatov all Summer. Fergie can say what he wants but he and Berbs agent are thick as thieves. Spurs have got him for one more season and that's it. Not saying he's coming to Utd now though, now we have Tevez.

As for the money aspect - there's no transfer fee for Tevez, but there would have been for Berbatov, so there must be money left....

Don't really know re Huntelaar just switched one week from him waiitng for everthing to go ahead to "we've got Tevez". Then however many weeks of will he, won't he due to the WHU/PL/MSI %@#$&!s.

Re Berbatov, has he signed that new deal yet? If he hasn't I suspect it might be due to the clause his agent wants included. So he can leave anytime for a certain fee.

with the fees tevez is costing around 8m aseason isn't he?

how old is berbatov? still mid 20's isn't he?

if he didn't get a release clause put in his contract, we would be talking silly money for us to ever get him
