Didn't he step in once before? The EFL are a joke when it comes to their Fit and Proper Persons test, the current Bury owner managed to take over the club without the EFL board checking or approving the paperwork per their own regulations

Classic EFL

As ever it's the fans that suffer. Joke.

£#%&! em.

Always had an anti United following, surprised they let the met go there..
Fans bringing coffins to the ground, but can't make Nuneaton in the cup.

Staff member has chained herself to the lampost outside, chain yourself to your desk love and you wouldn't be in this mess....

The old guy who goes the ticket office for news everyday...

"He hasn't got the internet Albert, he still comes everyday for news"

Give it a rest.......

Red Army lite kicking the door in

Harsh on the fans though. PL as bad ad EFL for fit and proper. Shouldn't be allowed. Should never have been allowed.

bit of a soft spot for Bury, when i was a kid, if United were away then me and my pals would take the bus to gigg lane and wait till half time to go in (as they used to let you in for free)

I have some vague memory of some kind of stat about the pitch at gigg lane.....anyone know?

sad state of affairs

I remember the last time we helped them out, there was a bucket collection outside the ground, plus United rentrd Gigg Lane for the reserve games. We payed them some time later and got dog's abuse off them.
So £#%&! em.

England has far far far too many professional football clubs. It’s ridiculous. Loads of them have no business being in business. If the fans are that arsed they can start again.

Let them fold. Too many clubs in this country. Would be much better off merging half the turds.

I used to do the same in the mid-80's. I can remember Craig Madden (?) scoring goals for fun one year.

The pitch, I think, was originally taken from Wembley turf.

They made 3/4 of the league here take amateur status. You can still pay players, but there is a strict salary cap and spending cap...and clubs are still in danger of folding due to finances

Obvs from bury but have always had a minor disdain for the club. I was taken to united in 1978 and I couldn’t believe what I’d seen. Never to look back.

But...some of the finest hooliganism I witnessed was bury v Blackpool in the mid 80’s. Absolute scenes.

Rip bury
